Two robbers steal food shop cash

Two masked men have robbed a food shop in a Lincolnshire town.

The men went into the shop on Witham Place in Boston at about 2100 BST on Tuesday and grabbed a female shop assistant who was behind the till.

One of the robbers covered the woman's mouth while his accomplice stole cash from the till.

No-one was injured in the robbery but the shop staff were left shaken. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact police.

Both men were wearing black balaclavas and black gloves.

One suspect was well built and stocky with mousy hair. The other man was taller and slimmer and was wearing a dark coat and dark blue jeans.
