Man walking dog stabbed in neck

A Lincolnshire man has been stabbed in the neck while out walking his dog.

The 43-year-old victim was in a small park in Coleridge Gardens in Lincoln at about 0300 GMT when he was attacked, police said.

He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police have urged anyone with information to contact them.
