Barn is destroyed in arson attack

A barn and 400 tonnes of straw have been destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Lincolnshire.

Crews from Louth and North Somercotes were called to reports of a barn fire on Main Street in Fulstow at about 2050 GMT on Monday.

The barn and straw bales were destroyed in the blaze, which also damaged a pig shed. No animals were hurt in the fire, fire officers said.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is now under way.
