Shop worker threatened with knife

Two men have threatened a female shop assistant in Lincoln with a knife before stealing cash.

The 40-year-old woman was working in a secondhand shop on Portland Street at about 1600 BST on Saturday when the men went into the store.

One of the men pulled out a "stanley-style knife" and threatened the woman before running of with a quantity of cash, police said.

The woman suffered a minor scratch wound to the neck.

Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact them.

The man with the knife is described as about 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build and was wearing a light blue, hooded top.

The second man was also about 5ft 10in tall and was wearing a darker blue hooded top.
