Boy, 2, dies after pool incident

A two-year-old boy who died following an incident in a Lincolnshire garden has been named by police.

Officers said Dylon Booth from De Lacey Avenue, Winthorpe was found in a paddling pool in a garden in Winthorpe last Friday morning.

He was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, where he died on Wednesday evening.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out and an inquest into his death is also due to open, police said.
