The funeral has been held of a three-year-old Lincolnshire girl who died in a mini motorbike accident.

Abbie Perrin from Monks Dyke Road in Louth was a passenger on the vehicle which was involved in a collision with a pick-up truck on 26 May.

The funeral took place at 1100 BST at Louth's St James' Church.

George Franklin, 22, from Monks Dyke Road in Louth, has been charged with causing her death by dangerous driving and is due in court again in August.

Family and friends had been asked to wear pink to remember the toddler.

Canon Stephen Holdaway who gave the service said it was not a day for recriminations but a day to celebrate Abbie's life.

He said she was a girl who enjoyed life and always had a smile, and she would be remembered as a "little angel".
