Bookmaker raiders steal shop safe

A gang is being hunted after it burgled a Lincolnshire bookmakers and made off with its safe.

A number of men were seen loading the safe into a car near the Coral Bookmakers in West Street, Bourne, in the early hours of Thursday.

The grey saloon may have headed on the A151 towards Stamford or Grantham.

Police said they wanted to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity near the shop, or anyone who has seen the car or safe.

The safe is described as large and metal with a dial on the front.
