Bike crash victim, 70, is named
A Lincolnshire man, 70, who died after a collision between his motorbike and a car has been named by police.

Emergency services were called to the incident involving a Honda 1000cc bike and a red Vauxhall Vectra on Peartree Lane, Fulstow, on Sunday afternoon.

Eric Howey, of Albany Road, Woodhall Spa, was taken to Grimsby Hospital where he died a short time later.

The 36-year-old male driver of the Vectra, who was from Huttoft, was not reported to be injured.

Police confirmed this is the fourth death on Lincolnshire's roads so far in 2008 and compares with nine at the same time last year.

Officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
