A 70-year-old Lincolnshire man has died following a collision between his motorbike and a car.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Peartree Lane, Fulstow, on Sunday afternoon involving a Honda 1000cc bike and a red Vauxhall Vectra.

The man, who has not yet been named but is from Woodhall Spa, was taken to Grimsby Hospital where he died a short time later.

The driver of the Vectra was not reported to be injured.

Police confirmed this is the fourth death on Lincolnshire's roads so far in 2008 and compares with nine at the same time last year.
