Driver warning over new crossing
Traffic police have stepped up patrols in a Lincolnshire town following several near misses at a newly installed pedestrian crossing.

Officers have received a number of complaints from pedestrians who said they had nearly been hit at the zebra crossing on Grantham Road in Sleaford.

Sgt Steve Buxton said motorists who did not stop would be dealt with.

"If they [drivers] cannot see the crossing, they shouldn't be on the road at all," he said.
