Sweeper truck wrecks family home
Roadsweeper and house
The 15-tonne lorry damaged the front of the house
A house in Lincolnshire was severely damaged when a 15-tonne roadsweeper lorry crashed into it.

The family inside the house on Horncastle Road, Wragby, was woken at about 0610 GMT when the vehicle hit the front of the house.

The crash happened after the lorry came off the road and mounted the pavement.

The driver and the residents were uninjured. A structural engineer has been called in to check the extent of damage to the house.

The road was closed for several hours while the lorry was removed from the front of the home.
