Bikers bid to tackle death toll
Dozens of motorbike riders have attended advanced training in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership said it was determined to cut the number of casualties involving motorbikes on the county's roads.

Six people were killed over the Bank Holiday weekend in the county in accidents involving motorcycles.

Insp Andy McManus from the partnership said he hoped the training events would help bring down the death toll.

Sixty bikers attended the Cadwell Park training session.

"We can prevent this death mayhem - we are hoping people will get some extra training, it is worth the effort," he said.

The course showed riders what to do in an emergency and how to get out of a skid and avoid hazards.
