Customers may still view the angel's covered parts by request

A Lincolnshire gallery has covered up parts of a painting of a nude male angel after a complaint.
The painting of the angel is on display in the front window of Gallery 618 on Station Street in Woodhall Spa.
But Jade Chappell, from the gallery, said a female customer had complained that the painting was "disgusting" and should be taken out of the window.
Mr Chappell said he did not want to remove the painting but had covered the angel's genitalia with a sign.

The sign reads: "Certain aspects of this painting are no longer visible due to complaints. Private showings by request."
Mr Chappell said he had been surprised by the female customer's reaction to the painting, Heaven and Earth, by local artist, Tracey Scott.
"The woman's daughter had been in earlier and said the painting was disgusting and vulgar so she decided to come in, make a complaint and ask for it to be taken out of the window.
"I was in two minds about whether to take it out there and then or leave it there with the parts covered up, which is what I did, as I had only just put it in.
"Other people have admired it so I have left there with the sign," said Mr Chappell.
