Two dead after A1 road collision
Two people have died after two cars collided on a stretch of the A1.

Police were called to the A1 southbound near Great Ponton in Lincolnshire at about 1850 BST on Saturday.

Officers said a green Ford Fiesta and a white Jaguar had been in collision. A man, 20, died at the scene and woman, 19, later died at Grantham Hospital.

It is believed the Fiesta had broken down but police said details were still unclear and have asked any witnesses to contact them.
