Shop damaged during arson attack
A shop has been severely damaged during an arson attack in a Lincolnshire town.

Fire crews were called to the store on Red Lion Street in Spalding in the early hours of Monday morning.

A Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said a wheelie bin had been pushed up against a fire door and deliberately ignited.

The ground floor was severely damaged. First and second floor store rooms were damaged by smoke. Investigators were at the scene on Monday.
