Van and train collide on crossing
A train has collided with a van on a rail crossing in Lincolnshire.

No one was hurt in the crash on Tuesday afternoon but rail passengers had to continue their journey by bus.

Central Trains said the crash happened at a gated user crossing on an unadopted track off Valentine Road between Hykeham and Lincoln stations.

The front of the van was damaged. The train involved, the 1435 Leicester to Lincoln, was able to continue its journey an hour later.
