New housing for hospital workers
Improvements to staff accommodation worth £20m at hospitals in Lincolnshire have been announced.

Homes for 600 doctors, nurses and other workers will be built or refurbished at four sites across the county.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust said the development will address a housing shortage and help attract new key staff.

Boston's Pilgrim Hospital, Lincoln County, Grantham Hospital and Louth will all benefit.

The biggest investment will be in Boston, where 300 new homes are planned.

A new three-storey building is to house 110 staff at Lincoln County and a further 109 homes will be refurbished.

New or refurbished accommodation for 54 staff will also be provided in Grantham with workers at Louth Hospital benefiting from the renovation of 26 homes.
