Jury will monitor council's work
The work of council chiefs in an area of Lincolnshire is to be monitored by a new "citizen's jury".

Members of the public are being recruited to join the panel, which will regularly analyse the decisions made by South Kesteven District Council.

Issues set to be discussed at its first meeting next month include crime, anti-social behaviour and rubbish.

The jury will also look at whether the council, which is looking for jury members, provides value for money.

The first meeting takes place on 8 December.
