Fire hits grounds of stately home
A blaze has destroyed a building in the grounds of a derelict hall near Lincoln that has previously been hit by fire.

Six crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tackled the fire at Nocton Hall on Saturday night. Fire investigators are treating the blaze as suspicious.

The site, a vacant hall that was once home to an RAF hospital, was hit by another fire in October 2004.

The firefighters were able to contain the blaze and protect a nearby nursing home, a fire spokesman said.
