Lay-by murder victim identified
A woman whose body was found next to a car on a busy Lincolnshire road has been identified by police.

Deborah Newton, 36, a mother of two young children from the Hogsthorpe area, was discovered in a lay-by on the A16 on Wednesday.

Lincs police have started a murder investigation and are asking for anyone with information to contact them.

Detectives say a 36-year-old man has been arrested and will be questioned about the death near Spilsby.

A post-mortem examination has established the cause of death, but the results have not yet been made public.

The man who was arrested is undergoing medical treatment.

The woman's body was discovered near a blue Ford Mondeo car at Keale Hill.
