Horse rider's body found in field
A horse rider found dead in a Lincs field on Monday has been named.

Ann Smith, 50, from Scawby Brook, near Brigg, was discovered at the side of the road in Cliff Lane, Waddingham.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the death on behalf of the coroner. There are not believed to be any witnesses to the incident.

Mrs Smith was found a few miles from the site where a woman died after being thrown from her horse when a helicopter flew overhead last year.

An inquest is expected to be opened into the death of Mrs Smith on Thursday.
