Thousands of ducks die in blaze
Nearly 5,000 ducks have died in a severe fire at a farm in Lincolnshire.

A poultry shed was completely destroyed by the fire in Addlethorpe near Ingoldmells on Monday morning.

Firefighters evacuated a nearby caravan park and homes because of concerns about an asbestos roof. People have since been allowed to return.

No-one was injured in the fire but 4,800 ducks died. Firefighters say they believe the fire was accidental but investigations are continuing.

Machinery in the 68m-long poultry shed was also destroyed by the flames.
