An ambulance worker has been sacked following allegations he took photographs of a dead patient.
The worker is alleged to have taken the photographs of a corpse - believed to be the body of a teenage girl - with a mobile phone at the scene of a road crash in north Lincolnshire in August.
The Lincolnshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust suspended the man when the incident was reported.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the trust said a formal hearing had taken place and it was decided to dismiss the member of staff, who has not been named.
It is not known if he will appeal against the decision.
The trust has also confirmed the police would not be investigating any aspect of the case.
