Police name dead biker
Police are investigating a road accident near Lincoln in which a young motorcyclist was killed.

Michael Alexander, who was 25 and from Washingborough, died at the scene of the accident which happened at 0700 BST on Friday on the B1190 in the village.

Police say the exact details of the accident are unclear but a red Suzuki motorbike which Mr Alexander was riding collided with a black Citroen Saxo car.

The driver of the car, a 56-year-old woman is being treated in hospital for shock.

Officers are urging anyone who has significant information about the crash to contact their local police station.
