Teenager suffers assault in Leicester alley

Police are trying to trace a man who indecently assaulted a 15-year-old girl in Leicester.

The girl had got off a bus at Maidenwell Avenue and was walking down an alleyway towards Topaz Way when the incident happened on Saturday evening.

The victim managed to break free and runaway. She suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.

The offender is described as being in his late 20s, with a slim build and of Mediterranean appearance.

It is thought he had got off the bus at the same time as the victim.
