Man killed in two-car collision

A man has died in a two-vehicle collision in Leicestershire.

It happened on Welford Road in Arnesby, near the Fleckney Road junction, on Tuesday evening.

The man has been named as 29-year-old Paul Armitage, from Fleckney. The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

Mr Armitage was driving a Clan Crusader - a 1970s fibreglass sports car - at the time of the crash. Police are appealing for witnesses.
