Car crash death girl identified

Police have identified a teenage girl killed in a collision in Leicestershire which also injured six others.

Helen Wright, 16, from Ibstock, was a front seat passenger in a Ford Focus which was in collision with a Ford Fiesta on the A447 near Coalville.

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested in connection with the incident, which took place on Wednesday evening, and remains in police custody.

Officers have renewed calls for witnesses to come forward.
