Cannabis factory found in house

A cannabis factory has been discovered in a bungalow in Leicestershire.

Officers seized 173 cannabis plants following a raid at the premises on Launde Road, in Oadby, earlier.

A police spokesman said the plants had a street value of about £86,000 and were spread across three rooms of the property.

The bungalow was unoccupied at the time and no arrests have yet been made. Detectives said their investigations were continuing.
