Teenager attacked by truck driver

A 14-year-old boy suffered an injury to his nose after being attacked by a man in Leicester.

The victim, who was with four friends in Barkby Road in Syston, was assaulted after a short argument with the man.

The suspect then drove off in a green pick-up truck. He is described as white, blond, slim, about 6ft tall, in his 20s and wearing a grey tracksuit.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack, which happened at about 1940 GMT on Thursday.
