New Bosworth battle site claimed

Scholars have debated the precise location of the Battle of Bosworth for centuries but a team of historians and archaeologists is claiming to have found the real site - in a different location to previously thought.

The Battle of Bosworth saw the death of Richard III and ushered in the Tudor dynasty.

A stone memorial marks the spot where he was believed have died, but the team of experts is claiming that the actual location of the battlefield was two miles to the south.
