Police probe man's death in fire

Forensic teams are examining the scene of the fire

A man has died in a fire at a house in Leicester.

Emergency crews were called to the property in Tudor Road just before 0845 BST on Monday.

It is not yet known how the blaze started but police have begun a joint investigation with Leicestershire Fire and Rescue.

Police have cordoned off Tudor Road while forensic teams examine the property. No further details about the man have been released.
