Men face solicitor murder charges

Vina Patel was a partner in a Leicester firm of solicitors

Two men have been charged with the murder of a Leicester solicitor, police have confirmed.

On 15 January a family member found the body of Vina Patel at Corts Solicitors in Blackbird Road, Leicester where the 51-year-old was a partner.

Relatives had become concerned when she failed to keep a family commitment.

A 36-year-old man and a 53-year-old man have been charged with her murder and are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court later.
