Four charged over armed robbery

Four people have been charged in connection with a robbery at a Leicester shop.

Three men, aged 20, 22 and 28, have been charged with robbery and possession of a firearm after the incident in Abbey Lane on Monday.

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Two other men, aged 21 and 29, arrested in connection with the robbery have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
