Patients are to be asked about the care doctors give

A survey of patient care by general practitioners in Leicester has begun, health bosses have announced.

More than 48,000 patients will be sent questionnaires by NHS Leicester City to comment on the care they receive.

They will be asked about accessibility of appointment times, surgery environment, helpfulness of reception staff and overall care.

It is hoped the survey will highlight where improvements can be made as well as addressing out-of-hours care.
