Stolen property goes on display

Allotment holders in Leicestershire who have been burgled over the past three months have been invited to see if their property has been recovered.

More than 30 sheds on the Meadow Lane allotments in Birstall and the Church Street allotments in Syston were broken into in the past 90 days.

Following an arrest, police have put a number of recovered items on display at Syston police station.

A 21-year-old Syston man has been charged with 14 counts of burglary.
