Woman killed in motorbike crash

A female motorcyclist has died in a collision in Rutland.

The accident took place on the B676 in Buckminster on Sunday afternoon and involved a Land Rover and a Harley Davidson motorbike.

The victim, believed to be in her 40s, died at the scene. Formal identification has not yet taken place.

The driver of the Land Rover, a 40-year-old man from Leicester, was arrested and later released on police bail pending further enquiries.
