Council to host waste roadshows
People in Leicester are being urged to dispose of waste responsibly as part of a drive to cut fly-tipping.

The city council is running a series of roadshows at the Beaumont Leys shopping centre from Monday until 13 January.

The authority's environmental crime team will give advice on how to dispose of bulky waste responsibly and the consequences of illegal dumping.

Residents will also be given information on the council's bin collections and recycling schemes.
