Heavy rains bring new flood woe
Heavy rain has brought flooding to a Leicestershire town.

Residents of Lutterworth said water had started to bubble up from manhole covers and large amounts of water were coming off fields.

Severe weather moved from the south of England and arrived in the early afternoon with more rain forecast.

The Environment Agency has issued a Flood Watch for the River Sence from Billesdon to Glen Parva and the River Soar from Sharnford to the River Trent.

Central Trains also reported disruption on services from Leicester to Birmingham.

Highways officials were also warning motorists to slow down after a series of incidents on the M1.
