Woman and girl die in tree crash
A 12-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman were killed when a car hit a tree in Derbyshire.

The Peugeot was travelling in the direction of Tideswell when the driver lost control between Priestcliffe and Millers Dale at 1510 BST on Tuesday.

The car collided with a tree and then caught fire. The two occupants sustained fatal injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The victims have not yet been identified by police.

Officers have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
