Robber threatens boy with knife
A 14-year-old boy is recovering after a robber threatened him at knifepoint in an area of Leicester.

After threatening the teenager the man then stole his mobile phone on a stretch of grass just off Glovers Walk, Beaumont Leys, police said.

The victim was not hurt during the incident on Saturday 11 November.

The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, around 5ft 8in tall and slim. He was wearing a thin white jacket with navy blue piping.

He also wore a baseball cap under the hood of his jacket with a black scarf around his face and black trousers and shoes.

Appealing for witnesses, Pc Mark Durocher-Weston of Beaumont Leys local policing unit, said: "This was an extremely distressing incident for this young boy."
