Bid to tackle area's prostitution
Police have started a new campaign to tackle the increasing problem of prostitution in one part of Leicester.

Residents of the New Walk area have said kerb crawling is still happening in their neighbourhood despite previous attempts to stop it.

Prostitutes have now been warned they will face court orders and kerb crawlers will have their registration details recorded as part of the scheme.

Officers said prostitutes will also be offered help with drug addictions.
