Inquiry after inmate found dead
A 20-year-old inmate at a young offenders institution in Leicestershire has been found hanged in his cell, the Home Office has said.

James Needham, from Nottingham, was found hanged on Saturday at the Glen Parva young offenders institution.

He was returned to custody on 4 June for breaching his licence conditions after serving about half of a four-year sentence for robbery.

An investigation will be launched by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman.
