Three rescued after arson attack
Fire crews have said three people had a narrow escape after their home in Leicester was set on fire.

Arsonists set light to rubbish in the stairwell of a flat in Beatty Street in North Evington on Sunday night.

One woman had to be rescued from the flames by fire crews - another woman and a man were led to safety.

There are no reports of serious injuries. An investigation is under way and officers are keen to talk to anyone with information on the incident.
