City tyre firm destroyed in blaze
A tyre business in Leicester has been almost completely destroyed in a fire.

Fire crews were called to the blaze at National Tyres on Aylestone Road on Saturday morning after reports of black smoke and fumes.

Leicestershire Police have closed the road at Saffron Lane and are asking motorists not to bypass the closure.

The closure of the major road means fans travelling to the Walkers Stadium for the Leicester City match may face some delays, police said.
