A trading standards team has won an award for its efforts in tackling pubs and restaurants that swap branded spirits for cheaper alternatives.
Leicestershire County Council's service made more than 230 unannounced inspections of premises across the county last year.
It led to five being prosecuted or given official cautions.
The team has now won a gold award from the International Federation of Spirits Producers (IFSP).
Ernie White, lead cabinet member for community services at the council, said: "We are very pleased and proud that our efforts have been rewarded once again."
