Foxes music festival 'postponed'
A major music festival planned for Leicester's Walkers Stadium has been postponed after organisers failed to find enough artists to fill the bill.

Rock legends Status Quo were due to headline the opening night on 1 June.

The Foxes Music Festival was billed as the first major non-sporting event at Walkers Stadium - which is home to the Championship club Leicester City.

Pop artists Lemar and Darius were scheduled to headline the second day of the festival.

In a statement, Leicester City management confirmed that the postponement was made because managers were unable to book enough artists to fill the additional days.

Customers who have purchased tickets for the event can claim a full refund by contacting their point of purchase.

No decision has been made on a new date for the event.
