Council chiefs have scooped a prestigious award for its work in employing disabled people.
Leicestershire County Council received the "large organisation" honour at Remploy's Leading the Way Awards.
The organisation helps to create work opportunities for disabled people to help them become more independent.
Councillor Lesley Pendleton, cabinet lead member for equalities, said: "It demonstrates that our work in this area is recognised nationally."
She added: "It also provides us with the encouragement to meet our aim of increasing employment opportunities for disabled people and to make our services as accessible as possible to everybody."
