Three-day ride on antique cycle
A cycling enthusiast is riding a penny farthing from Leicester to York.

Roger Lovell is leaving from the Clock Tower on Monday morning and then heading north on the bike.

A special route has been devised for Mr Lovell's three-day journey to keep him away from most main roads.

He will start off riding the red penny farthing past Hoby and Belvoir Castle, before travelling through the Trent Valley and onto York via Selby.

The ride has been organised as part of his work as a cycling historian. He is also raising money for the charity Wishes 4 Kids.
