Transplant baby 'recovering well'
Harriet Stobbs
Harriet is recovering after a liver operation
A baby girl from Leicestershire who underwent an emergency liver transplant is said to be in a stable condition at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Harriet Stobbs, 13-months-old, from Ashby de la Zouch is being closely monitored by specialists.

Doctors say it will take a while to see if the operation has been a success.

Alan Tayman, for the hospital, said Harriett is doing well. She has spent most of her life in hospital after being born prematurely.

Her parents Kath, 33, and Rob, 30, appealed to people earlier this week to join the Organ Donor Register to give their daughter a chance of life.
