A Leicestershire MP has pledged to give £5 to any constituent who can prove he is bad value for money.
David Taylor, the Labour MP for North West Leicestershire made the offer after revelations about how much MPs claim in expenses.
At £123,042, Mr Taylor's expenses are slightly higher than the average MP.
He calculated his costs work out at about £5 per household, and he says so far a handful of people have come forward to claim the cash.
He said: "Tell me why so I can try and alter the way I work and fit in more closely with the people of North West Leicestershire if necessary."
